Our Sawmill

We are conservative with our resources.  We use our sawmill to process trees for the building projects at Pine View Lakes.  We use the slab wood from creating the usable lumber from the log cant to help fuel the maple sap evaporator.  The sawdust created is used in the bedding of the chicken coop.  Any remaining scraps, such as bark, ends up in the compost pile to become soil for the garden.
